Abstract

The aim of this paper is to recall and critically explore, in a very brief way, C. G. Hempel’s proposal of the analysis of moral judgement in 1965. Hempel included the analysis of moral judgements in the objective and causal perspective of science. His intention was to ensure that moral evaluation could also result in a probabilistic-inductive sub-model, which leads him to consider —in turn— that scientific knowledge and method presuppose moral evaluation.
